The APN (Access Point Name) is the address your phone uses to reach the internet through a mobile network. Your Roamly eSIM sets it automatically when it installs, so most people never see it.

When it’s worth checking

Only if you have signal bars on the Roamly line but nothing loads: the phone is registered on the network, but data isn’t flowing. If you have No Service, the APN isn’t the problem; see Just landed and no data? Start here.

Where to find your plan’s APN

It’s on your plan page, under Technical:
  • App: open the plan → More → Technical.
  • Website: open the eSIM at onroamly.com/my-esims and scroll to the Technical card.

Check or enter it

Settings → Mobile → your Roamly line → Mobile Data Network. The APN field under Mobile Data should match the value on your plan page. If it’s blank or different, type it in exactly, leave username and password empty, and go back.

Still no data after the APN is right?

1

Toggle the Roamly line off and on

Wait ten seconds in between.
2

Check Data Roaming is on for the Roamly line

3

Restart the phone

4

Reset network settings (last resort)

This clears saved Wi-Fi passwords and network preferences, so do it only if nothing else worked. iPhone: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings. Android: Settings → System → Reset options → Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
Then contact us with your phone model, the country and a screenshot of the APN screen.
