Your eSIM was connected and now it isn’t. Before touching any settings, check the two things that end a plan.
1

Check data and days on your plan page

Open the plan in the app or at onroamly.com/my-esims.
  • Depleted — you’ve used all your data. Nothing extra is charged; the connection just stops. If the plan is reloadable you’ll see Top up; otherwise buy a new plan. See What happens when my data runs out?
  • Expired — the plan’s days have run out, even if data was left. Buy a new plan for the rest of the trip. See What happens when my plan expires?
  • Active with data and days left — the plan is fine; keep going below.

Did you cross a border?

A country plan only works in that country. A regional plan works in every country it lists, but your phone may need a nudge to find the new local network: flick Airplane Mode on and off, and if that doesn’t do it, set network selection back to Automatic or pick a listed network by hand.
3

Is your phone still using Roamly for data?

An iPhone with Allow Mobile Data Switching on, or an Android with your home SIM’s data enabled, can quietly swap back to your home SIM. Check the data line is still Roamly, and that your home SIM’s Data Roaming is off. See I’m being charged roaming by my home carrier.
4

Reconnect

Airplane Mode on and off, then a restart if needed. If the Roamly line shows No Service, follow My eSIM shows “No Service” at my destination.

Buying more data with no data

Topping up or buying a new plan needs an internet connection: hotel or café Wi-Fi is fine. A new plan also needs to be installed, which is another reason to do it on Wi-Fi rather than waiting until you’re stuck. If the plan is reloadable, a top-up goes onto the eSIM you already have, with nothing to install.
