Roamly plans are fully prepaid, so when your data runs out your eSIM simply stops providing an internet connection. There are no overage charges, no surprise fees, and no bill waiting for you when you get home. Here’s what you can do next.

What are my options?

  1. Top up — If your plan is reloadable, you can purchase additional data from your eSIM detail page. The top-up adds to your existing eSIM, so you don’t need to install anything new. See How to top up.
  2. Buy a new plan — If your plan doesn’t support top-ups, you can purchase a new eSIM for the same destination. You’ll need Wi-Fi to install it.
  3. Use Wi-Fi — Connect to Wi-Fi at your hotel, cafe, or other locations for internet access until you’re able to top up or buy a new plan.

Will I be charged extra?

No. Roamly plans are prepaid — when your data runs out, the connection simply stops. There are no overage charges or surprise fees. You’re always in control.
