Good to know

  • You need Wi-Fi to download the eSIM profile. Do this at home before you head to the airport.
  • Your phone must be unlocked. If it’s locked to a carrier, contact them to unlock it first.
  • Don’t activate early. Most plans start their validity countdown when you first connect to a network abroad. Install now, activate when you land.
  • It can only be installed once. Once an eSIM is installed on a device, it’s locked to that device. Choose carefully.
