# Is my payment secure?

> Yes. Stripe handles every payment and Roamly never sees your card number.

Every payment on Roamly is handled by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment processors. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through, or get stored on, Roamly's systems.

## How it works

* **On the website** you're taken to a Stripe checkout page to pay.
* **In the apps** Stripe's payment sheet opens inside the app.

Either way, your card number, expiry and CVC are entered into Stripe's own form. We only ever receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the last four digits so you can recognise the card on your receipts.

## What protects you

* **PCI DSS Level 1**, the highest level of payment-card security certification, held by Stripe.
* **Encryption** of payment data in transit and at rest.
* **3D Secure**, where your bank requires it, adding a code or app confirmation to the payment.
* **Apple Pay and Google Pay** never share your actual card number with anyone, including Stripe.

## Saving a card

If you choose to save a card for next time, it's saved with Stripe, not with us, and you can remove it at checkout.
