# Install from the website on Android

> Open My eSIMs in Chrome on the phone you'll travel with and tap Add to Android to open Android's eSIM setup.

No app needed: the website can hand the eSIM straight to Android, as long as you open it on the phone you want the eSIM on.

  <Step title="Open your eSIM on your phone">
    In Chrome (or Samsung Internet) on the phone you'll travel with, sign in at [onroamly.com/my-esims](https://onroamly.com/my-esims) and tap your eSIM.

  <Step title="Tap Add to Android">
    Under **Install your eSIM**, tap **Add to Android** (one-touch install on this device). Android's eSIM setup opens with your Roamly eSIM ready to download. Tap **Download** (some phones say *Add* or *Next*).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Follow the prompts">
    Name the SIM something you'll recognise, like *Roamly* or the country you're visiting, and keep your normal SIM for calls and messages if asked. Roamly is data-only.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Leave the Roamly SIM off until you land">
    When Android confirms the eSIM is installed, open **Settings → Network & internet → SIMs** (Samsung: **Settings → Connections → SIM manager**), tap the Roamly SIM and make sure **Use this SIM** is off. The plan won't start until you turn it on and connect at your destination.

  <Step title="Turn off Roaming on your normal SIM">
    While you're still at home: on the same SIMs screen, tap your normal SIM and turn **Roaming** off (Samsung: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → **Data roaming**). That's the switch that stops your home carrier charging you overseas. If you won't need calls or texts on your number while you're away, you can turn **Use this SIM** off for that SIM instead; it comes back exactly as it was when you switch it on at home.

## On a computer?

**Add to Android** only works on the phone itself, because it opens that phone's settings. If you're on a computer the website will say so and offer the QR code instead: leave it on screen and scan it with the phone. ## When you land

Three switches get you online: turn the Roamly line on, select it for mobile data, and turn on Data Roaming for that line only. Follow [Just landed? How to activate your eSIM](/installing/when-you-land).

## Something not working?

* No **Add to Android** button? Your eSIM is still being set up — usually under five minutes. See [I paid but can't see my eSIM](/troubleshooting/before-you-go/cant-see-my-esim).
* Tapping the button did nothing? A few phones don't support one-touch setup. Tap **Manual setup** instead and follow [the manual steps](/installing/android/qr-code-or-manual).
