# Delete your account

> Delete it yourself from Account settings on the website, iPhone or Android. It's immediate. What's kept without your details, what your eSIMs do, and that Roam Coins are forfeited.

You can delete your Roamly account yourself, in a minute, from any of the three places you use it. It takes effect immediately and can't be undone, so read the "what happens" list first.

## Before you delete

* **Download any receipts you need.** They're not accessible after deletion. See [Receipts](/payments/receipts).
* **Spend your Roam Coins.** Any balance is forfeited when the account is deleted.
* **Check your eSIMs.** Active plans keep working on your phone until they run out, but you'll no longer be able to see usage, top up, or re-add the eSIM if you delete it from your phone.

## How to delete

    Sign in, open **Account**, go to the **More** tab and tap **Delete account**. Email-and-password accounts enter their password; then type **DELETE** to confirm.

We send a confirmation email to the address on the account, so you'll know if someone else did this.

## What happens

* Your profile, sign-in details, saved passkeys and personal details are deleted straight away.
* Your Roam Coins balance is forfeited and your referral code stops working.
* Your eSIMs keep working on your phone until their data or days run out. You just can't manage them any more.
* Order and payment records are kept without your name, email or other personal details, because Australian tax law requires us to keep transaction records. They can't be linked back to you.
* You can create a new account later with the same email; it starts fresh, with no history or coins.
