# Create an account

> Sign up with email, Google or Apple on the website or in the app. Email sign-ups confirm a 6-digit code.

You need a Roamly account to buy and manage eSIMs. It's free and takes under a minute.

## Three ways to sign up

* **Email and password.** Enter your email and choose a password (at least 8 characters). We send a 6-digit code to confirm the address.
* **Google.** One tap with your Google account.
* **Apple.** Sign in with your Apple Account, using Face ID or Touch ID. You can hide your real email if you like; Apple gives us a relay address that forwards to you.

  Your account is tied to the method you sign up with. If you create it with Google, sign in with Google from then on; the same email with a password is a different account. See [I can't sign in](/account/cant-sign-in).

## After you're in

* Add a **passkey** so you can sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your phone's screen lock. See [Sign in with a passkey](/account/sign-in-with-a-passkey).
