# Change your email address

> Email-and-password accounts change it from Account settings with a verification code. Google and Apple accounts change it with the provider.

## Email-and-password accounts

    **Account** on the website, or **Account → Settings** in the app.

  <Step title="Tap Change next to your email">
    Enter your current password to confirm it's you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the new address and send the code">
    We email a 6-digit code to the **new** address. It expires after 10 minutes, and five wrong guesses lock it, so copy it carefully.

  <Step title="Enter the code">
    The change takes effect immediately. Sign in with the new address from now on.

Your eSIMs, orders and Roam Coins all stay exactly as they were; only the address changes. Receipts already issued keep the old address.

## Google and Apple accounts

Your Roamly email comes from Google or Apple, so it can't be edited here. Change it in your Google or Apple account and it updates on Roamly the next time you sign in. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, you're using an Apple relay address; you can manage that in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple.
